Baker Property Consultants was founded in 2011 by John Baker as a commercial property consultancy specialising in lease consultancy and dispute resolution.

John has acted for owners and occupiers of retail, office and industrial properties, providing advice for rent reviews, lease renewals, lease regears and acquisition support.

Additionally, John served on the RICS Panel of Rent Review Arbitrators and Independent Experts between 2009 and 2025, receiving appointments from the Dispute Resolution Service of RICS to decide commercial rent disputes. John resigned from the RICS Panel in January 2025 to take up a role as Board Member of the RICS Dispute Resolution Appointments Board.
